Discussion will include an overview of the water crisis, unemployment, and the water bond S.B. 7x 2, Safe, Reliable Drinking Water Act of 2010.  The panel will present a balanced overview of issues. A second forum will be presented on April 3^rd at the same time and location.

The forum will provide an informational and educational stage for discussion and meaningful dialogue to elicit public awareness among and within the Latino and other communities. 

The event is an environmental justice approach to reach out and engage the Latino community through none traditional avenues; schools, churches and the media.  The event is scheduled for Saturday morning, March 6 at Pacific, in Grace Covell Hall.  Translation services will be provided.  The program will be conducted in English.
